Growing up in the East San Francisco Bay Area I certainly am surrounded by a sustainability bubble that has long preceded me. Whether people drive a Prius, solar power their home or shop at whole foods, everyone is trying to become green in some way. I believe one of the most powerful things people can do that will also make a completely positive impact on their lives is to grow vegetables, fruits or herbs they can add to their daily diet.
There are many reasons people choose to grow their own vegetables, fruits or herbs; some want to save money, others want healthier diets but my reason is because it’s simply better. The impact it has on your life is a direct correlation of your desired output.
